In a heart-wrenching incident, Suraj Shivanna from Bengaluru succumbed to despair and ended his life in a Nagpur hotel, mere days after his wife’s unfortunate passing. Grappling with accusations of dowry harassment and the impending strain from his in-laws, Suraj and his relatives were attempting to escape when the incident occurred.

Officials say no movement has been detected on the Indian side, despite Dhaka’s claim that the alleged shooter and his accomplice entered Meghalaya through informal routes.
