PM Narendra Modi extended best wishes to the people of the country on the occasion of Diwali on Thursday.

The government at the highest level is concerned about the possibility of this being a new conspiracy against India to dent its economy by derailing sectors like aviation and hospitality

The eighth Deepotsav in Ayodhya saw record-breaking celebrations with 25.13 lakh diyas lit at Ram Ki Paidi, surpassing previous records. With the first Diwali celebration after the consecration of Ram Lalla in January, highlights included a drone show, Saryu aarti, and performances by international artists, drawing numerous devotees to the temple town.
