Kajol celebrates 26 years of romantic comedy Ishq Ajay Devgn reveals he proposed on set
The 1997 film Ishq is a beloved romantic action-comedy in Hindi cinema. With an iconic cast including Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Aamir Khan, and Juhi Chawla, this movie never fails to bring laughter and joy. Today, on its 26th anniversary, Kajol shared a throwback picture with the lead cast on her social media.
Sharing the picture, Kajol wrote, “This picture was taken once we had finished stomping on the hills of Switzerland for the day.. You can’t see how zapped we were or how we were like ‘Why does the sun set so late damnit ?’ .. What fab actors we were na ;)”

Later, Ajay Devgn took to X and replied to Kajol with a revelation. He wrote, “Wasn’t this the film where I proposed to you with your own ring?”

Kajol and Ajay Devgn tied the knot on February 24, 1999. The two welcomed their daughter Nysa in April 2003 and their son Yug in September 2010.
