Three people were killed and 17 were injured after a state-run bus rammed some vehicles on a road in Mumbai’s Kurla (West) on Monday.

Foreign secretary Vikram Misri met with Bangladeshi officials in Dhaka to address strained bilateral relations following recent attacks on minorities in Bangladesh. Both sides acknowledged the need to resolve outstanding issues and expressed optimism for a stronger, mutually beneficial partnership going forward. Misri emphasised India’s expectation of a constructive approach from Bangladesh in addressing these concerns.

The three victims were removing their luggage from the bus when the accident occurred, and the driver has also been hospitalised.
