A die-hard fan of Sandalwood star Darshan, S Renukaswamy, was allegedly assaulted and murdered after a cab journey from Chitradurga to Bengaluru. The incident led to the arrest of Darshan, his girlfriend Pavithra Gowda, and 11 others. The cab driver, Ravi Shankar, surrendered to the police in Chitradurga after being named a suspect in the case.

The Delhi high court on Saturday instructed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife and five other individual respondents to remove video recordings of a court hearing in the excise policy case from social media platforms. Additionally, the court directed social media companies to take down any other posts or reposts of videos recorded on that day.

The incident happened in Rajasthan’s Kota district on Friday, The deceased has been identified as Nitin.
