Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives star Shalini Passi admits son Robin would call her by name; opens up on being a mother at 20: ‘We were like siblings’

Shalini Passi’s wit, style, charm, and one-liners have been a major highlight in Bollywood Lives vs Bollywood Wives S3. In her interviews after the show’s release, the philanthropist shared several insights into her personal life and family, receiving a lot of appreciation for her honesty. Recently, she shared an insight into her motherhood journey and being a mother at 20 to her son, Robin Passi.

In a candid conversation with Deepak Pareek, Shalini Passi recalled her heartfelt moments with her son as he raised him during her early 20s. She reflected on how she used to get thrilled just like her son, Robin, while visiting toy stories and shared the excitement of enjoying the rides in Disneyland.

She said, “I used to tell him, ‘Robin, let’s do skating classes,’ I used to take him ice skating. So, both of us are ice skating, and then I taught him skiing and scuba diving. We were like siblings. It is like we grew up together.”

Passi mentioned that Robin used to call her by her name for the longest time due to their special bond. But, in the past few years, her 27-year-old son has started to address her as ‘mom.’ Similarly, just like siblings, her son used to complain about Shalini’s antics to his her mother and his nani.

She recounted, “He used to call up my mother and say, ‘Your daughter has lost it.’ He used to complain to my mother about me.”

The Philanthropist mentioned one particular occasion when he complained to his grandmother about her. Passi shared that as a mother, she wanted her son to stay away from aerated drinks and mixed water in them for her son. He was unaware of it until he tasted soda at his friend’s house and called up his Nani. Like any other mother, the socialite admitted she had dedicated her life to raising her son.

For those unaware, Shalini Passi is married to a multi-billionaire chairman of Pasco Group. The couple has a son, Robin Passi.

HBO and Max have a powerful series lineup for 2025! The 2-minute teaser released by the studio Dune: Prophecy, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, The White Lotus, and other unseen clips highlighted the 15 shows in the lineup, which include season three of The White Lotus, It: Welcome to Derry, season two of Peacemaker, and season four of The Righteous Gemstones.

The 2025 docket also showed clips of And Just Like That, Bookie, Hacks, The Gilded Age, The Rehearsal, and Conan O’Brien Must Go.

In addition to these series, the Game of Thrones’s second spin-off, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, is also headed for its release next year. New seasons of the post-apocalyptic drama The Last of Us, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, will also be released next year.

The Miniseries Task, The Chair Company, Rachel Sennott’s untitled comedy series, the docuseries Celtics City, and Pee-Wee, As Himself are also on the list. The teaser dropped alongside the final season of The Penguin, the spin-off series revolving around Colin Farrell’s titular villain, who debuted in the 2022 The Batman starring Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz.

Max has become a vast streaming platform with massive franchises like House of The Dragon, Euphoria, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Succession, and more under its umbrella. However, in 2024, the studio witnessed a dip because of last year’s strikes by writers and actors, which pushed some planned 2024 releases to the following year.

In November 2024, several projects, such as 1971’s Dirty Harry, The Addams Family 2, The Extra Man, The Hangover, and the Jurassic Park series, will be released on the streaming platform. For the Holiday season, some classics, like 1938’s A Christmas Carol, 1983’s A Christmas Story, and 2003’s Elf, will be released on Max and HBO.

World’s Second 6th-Gen Stealth Aircraft Gets Nod From UK PM Keir Starmer

The world’s second 6th-Generation fully-stealth fighter aircraft has gained impetus with Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer giving the green signal for the strategically important project being co-developed by G7 member states – UK, Italy, and Japan. The approval was given last week.

Prime Minister Starmer and his cabinet gave the approval for the Global Combat Aircraft Programme or GCAP, and a formal announcement of the project is likely in the next few weeks, according to a report in the Financial Times.

The GCAP programme aims to counter a rising threat from Russia and China. The project will merge two different military programs – UK and Italy’s Tempest Project, for which the UK had already pledged the initial 2-billion-pounds, and Japan’s F-X programme.

Italy, Japan, and the UK had signed a treaty in December last year, however, there was uncertainty over UK’s participation due to the Labour Party’s Strategic Defence Review or SDR which could scrap UK’s participation on grounds of high costs. However, with Prime Minister Starmer’s go-ahead, those fears have been laid to rest.

The final cost of the multi-billion-dollar project is not known yet, but the target to develop and commission the stealth fighter jet has been set for 2035. The project is being jointly developed by British aircraft manufacturer BAE Systems, engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce, Italy’s Leonardo Aerospace, and Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

According to the trilateral agreement, the joint GCAP government headquarters will be based in the UK. “UK is a proud member of the Global Combat Air Programme, working together with our partners Japan and Italy, we are fully focused on delivering a next-generation combat aircraft for 2035,” UK’s Defence Ministry said.

If the deadlines are met, the GCAP supersonic, 6th generation stealth fighter aircraft will become only the second such fighter jet in the world after the United States’ B-21 Raider Bomber which is manufactured by Northrop Grumman.

THE ‘B-21 RAIDER’ BOMBER

The B-21 Raider bomber has 6th generation stealth technology, advanced networking capabilities and an open systems architecture. It is made with stealth materials which defeat the anti-access, area-denial systems it faces.

It is capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear payloads. It also has the ability to use a broad mix of stand-off and direct attack munitions. It is the world’s first digital bomber with the aircraft ops based on cloud technology.

Currently the “world’s most advanced strike aircraft”, the B-21 Raider is named in honor of the Doolittle Raid of World War II when 80 airmen, led by Lt. Col. James “Jimmy” Doolittle, and 16 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers set off on a mission that changed the course of World War II. The actions of these 80 volunteers were instrumental in shifting momentum in the Pacific theatre. This marked the raid as a catalyst to a multitude of future progress in US air superiority from land or sea. The courageous spirit of the Doolittle Raiders is the inspiration behind the name of the B-21 Raider.
