India and the US have resumed trade negotiations, marking the first in-person meeting since the US imposed 50% tariffs. Led by Brendan Lynch, the US delegation engaged in ‘positive and forward looking’ discussions with Indian officials, aiming for a mutually beneficial trade agreement.

Acknowledging the “enduring importance” of bilateral trade, both delegations agreed to step up efforts to deliver a mutually beneficial agreement at the earliest.
