Homeless people in Washington, D.C., could face jail time if they do not comply with President Donald Trump’s efforts to crack down on crime and rid the U.S. capital of homeless encampments, the White House said on Tuesday.

The Indian government has announced that Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders could have their registration cancelled if they are convicted and sentenced to imprisonment for two years or more. The OCI card can also be revoked if they are charge-sheeted for an offense that carries a potential jail term of seven years or more, according to a recent notification.

Two college students here were attacked by stray dogs on Tuesday and have been hospitalised, said a city civic body official.
