EXCLUSIVE: Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor to shoot in London for new film

Filmfare was the first one to tell you that Fawad Khan was making a return to Indian films. Well, our reliable sources have revealed that Fawad has kickstarted the London schedule of his film from this week. Not just that, his co-star in this film, Vaani Kapoor is slated to join Fawad in London, too. 

Our source further stated, “The film has a tentative title right now. For now it’s called Abir Gulal.” The source also maintained that this is just a working title, it may or may not change in the near future. Fawad’s and Vaani’s film is being directed by Arti Bagdi. Just before signing off, our source added, “The film will be shot in a forty-day schedule in London.”

We had also previously reported that Fawad will play a UK based chef in this film. In media interactions that happened after Filmfare’s first report, Fawad even acknowledged that he was part of multiple projects associated with India. Govindas wife Sunita Ahuja gives an update on the actors health

Bollywood actor Govinda, who accidentally got shot in his leg from his own licensed revolver, is recovering well and will soon be discharged, according to his wife, Sunita Ahuja. The incident occurred at his Mumbai residence while the actor was handling his licenced revolver, which accidentally discharged. Sunita informed reporters that Govinda’s condition has improved, and he will be moved to a normal ward today, with discharge expected in two days.

Mumbai police and crime branch officials are investigating the matter, although no complaint has been filed. Govinda was reportedly alone at the time of the incident, which occurred early Tuesday morning. His manager, Shashi Sinha, explained that the actor was preparing to leave for Kolkata when his gun slipped and went off, hitting him in the leg. Doctors have removed the bullet, and Govinda is in a stable condition.

Close friends and colleagues, including director David Dhawan and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, visited the hospital to check on Govinda’s health. Sunita expressed gratitude for the outpouring of prayers from fans and reassured them that the actor is doing well.
