As Windows Production celebrates 25 years of storytelling in the Bengali film industry, the production house is set to take its long standing association with Junglee Music, a division of Times Music to the next level with an exciting seven film collaboration. Known for delivering memorable films backed by soulful music, the two brands are once again joining forces to create stories that connect deeply with audiences across generations. Over the years, their collaborations have played an important role in shaping the musical and cultural identity of Bengali cinema.

The first project under this special collaboration will be Phool Pishi O Edward, which is scheduled to release on 29th May 2026. The film has already started generating buzz among movie lovers for its intriguing storyline and musical promise. As the beginning of this ambitious slate, the project is expected to set the tone for a series of films that aim to blend emotionally driven narratives with impactful music.

Jr NTR and director Trivikram Srinivas are coming together for a project tentatively titled God of War. Fans are expecting an official announcement on May 20 to coincide with the actor’s birthday. The film is being mounted on an unprecedented scale and is expected to become the most expensive venture in Jr NTR’s career. Its budget is likely to surpass even that of Dragon. This massive investment is reportedly required for the film’s unique genre. Trivikram is said to be developing the project as a high-concept mythological drama backed by top-tier visual effects aimed at delivering an extraordinary cinematic experience.

Will it happen or not?

While the odds appear to favour an announcement video arriving on May 20, there is still a major question mark. Trivikram is currently working closely with his technical team on the announcement video and is reportedly keen on ensuring that the visuals and sound match his ambitious vision. The high-voltage promo will reportedly be released only if it meets his standards.

How the project changed hands

God of War has had a long and interesting development journey. The project was originally conceptualised for Allu Arjun. Director Trivikram and the actor had reportedly held extensive discussions about the script. However, the collaboration did not materialise after the Pushpa star moved ahead with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s project following Raaka. He is also expected to collaborate with Mollywood filmmaker Basil Joseph, effectively ruling out a Trivikram-Allu Arjun reunion for now. Eventually, the script made its way to Jr NTR. Both the actor and director reportedly felt this was the right time to reunite for a massive cinematic venture.

Dragon teaser on the anvil?

While God of War is likely to dominate headlines, May 20 may have more surprises in store for Jr NTR fans. A grand teaser for Prashanth Neel’s Dragon is also expected to be unveiled. The film forms a key part of Jr NTR’s ambitious pan-Indian lineup, and the teaser is expected to offer a glimpse into the gritty world envisioned by the director.

Spirit is not facing any delay. The prestigious venture, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is progressing as planned and is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on March 5, 2027. Fans can rest assured that there has been no postponement.

Rumours stemmed from Prabhas’ packed itinerary

Rumours began circulating because of Prabhas’ busy schedule. The actor is currently juggling two other projects, Fauzi and Kalki 2. Some reports claimed that Spirit had become a secondary priority for him and suggested that the film could move away from its original release slot. Fans, too, repeatedly questioned the production house on social media, seeking clarity regarding the rumours.

However, sources close to the production team have reportedly dismissed these claims entirely. They confirmed that the shoot is progressing on schedule and that the project remains a top priority for everyone involved. The team is fully committed to meeting the 2027 deadline, with no changes in the production timeline. In fact, the makers are reportedly planning to expedite the process in the coming months. The release of Salman Khan and Vamsi Paidipally’s film, scheduled just a week later, is also not influencing any change in Spirit’s plans.

Fauzi is Prabhas’ immediate next release

Fauzi is expected to hit theatres later this year. Only about 20 per cent of the production work remains pending. Three major action sequences are expected to be filmed in the coming months. The film is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, and if everything goes according to plan, it is likely to release in October this year.

Prabhas as a fierce cop

In Spirit, the Baahubali actor will reportedly be seen as a fierce police officer. Triptii Dimri plays the female lead, while Vivek Oberoi joins the cast in a pivotal role. Aishwarya Desi has also been paired opposite him. Sandeep Reddy Vanga serves as the director, writer, and editor of the project, while Harshavardhan Rameshwar is composing the music. The action entertainer went on floors after extensive music sittings.
