The Goa police on Tuesday detained Ajay Gupta, one of the four owners of ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub, where a devastating fire claimed the lives of 25 persons.

Interpol has issued a blue corner notice for nightclub co-owners Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, believed to be in Thailand, following a deadly blaze. Goa Police detained a partner and are seeking to impound the brothers’ passports. A team is being sent to Thailand to bring them back, with authorities also investigating their finances.
