Seven soldiers were injured while engaging terrorists holed up in harsh terrain in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar, sources have said.

Three soldiers were injured in a fierce encounter with suspected foreign terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district. The gunfight erupted during a search operation in the Sonnar area, with security forces engaging a group of two to three Jaish-e-Mohammad militants. Reinforcements have been deployed as a large-scale operation to track down the terrorists is underway.
