US President Donald Trump on Sunday called his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, “crazy” for launching one of the biggest airstrikes on Ukraine since the start of the war.

Hamdi Al-Najjar, himself a doctor, was at home in Khan Younis with his 10 children when an Israeli air strike occurred, killing all but one of them.

Joseph Neumeyer, 28, was detained in Israel after the attack and deported to the United States, where he was arrested on arrival, court documents and a Justice Department statement said.
