Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lead the 79th Independence Day celebrations, marking his 12th consecutive address from the Red Fort. Since 2014, PM Modi has showcased India’s cultural diversity by wearing distinctive, colourful turbans. Each year, his turban reflects a different region or style, from Rajasthani bandhani to leheriya prints, paired with traditional kurta-churidar and jackets.
