The Trump administration predicts a “golden age” for US-India relations despite failing to finalize a bilateral trade agreement. Discussions continue on easing tariffs and addressing immigration issues. Significant concessions from India include cutting tariffs on various US imports, aiming for a balanced trade relationship.

It came days after a total of four policemen and two militants were killed in a 48-hour-long operation that saw militants hiding in an undulating and forested area of Safian.  

The minister will attend a host of meetings, including the India-United Kingdom Economic and Financial Dialogue, in London.
