The Congress criticised the Modi government’s leadership, pointing out several policy reversals. These included the cancellation of the UPSC lateral entry proposal for IAS positions, withdrawal of the Broadcasting Services Bill, and restoring property indexation benefits. The BJP defended these actions as flexibility and sensitivity to feedback. Both opposition and NDA allies have welcomed these changes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also met members of the Indian diaspora at a community event in Warsaw and urged them to continue strengthening India-Poland ties.
