Fans of Pawan Kalyan were a disappointed lot! While they were glad to see him in his character Ojhas Gambheera (OG) costumes at the OG concert in Hyderabad on Sunday, they were livid after the filmmakers haven’t released the trailer on social media. Even while Pawan kept asking director Sujeeth on stage to unveil the trailer, his efforts went in vain.

OG trailer was supposed to be released at 10 AM on Sunday morning. Just when everyone was waiting for the trailer to explode, a couple of hours before, filmmakers announced that it would be released during the OG concert later in the day. But at the event, the filmmakers could only manage to screen the trailer… and that too on Pawan’s insistence. Work on a few specific effect shots in Digital Intermediary (DI) in the film’s postproduction work caused the delay in trailer release. Pawan admittedly said, “There is still a DI issue with the trailer it seems, but I said it’s ok my fans can understand and imagine the essence of it even though the trailer doesn’t have any DI. I am forcing the makers to play the trailer here for you.”
With just three days for release, fans have expressed huge disappointment over the entire trailer delay episode. What’s shocking to see is there’s no clarity over the trailer release even on Monday morning. What was slated to be a straightforward release spiralled into a controversy and further tested the patience of Pawan Kalyan fans. Angry fans took to social media and expressed their anguish and trolled the filmmakers for the way they handled the issue. Meanwhile, some miscreants have put up OG trailer on social media. Soon filmmakers appealed to everyone to delete the trailer, and that they are on the cusp of releasing the original one.
