This is indeed a significant jump from Day 1 and an indication that the film is establishing its footing at the box office. With this momentum, Sunday looks even stronger, and it will be exciting to see the film’s numbers for the day.
120 Bahadur recounts the extraordinary courage of 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought in the legendary Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war. Farhan Akhtar plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, who, along with his men, stood against all odds in one of the most defining battles of Indian military history. At its heart, one unwavering line echoes through the film: “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge.”

Filmfare’s reviewe rated the film 3 out of 5, saying “120 Bahadur arrives with the weight of history and the emotional pull of a story that deserves to be told. Razneesh “Razy” Ghai anchors the film in a visually immersive war zone, staging combat sequences with an immediacy that is rare in Hindi war dramas. The high-altitude terrain, the crunch of snow under boots, the fatigue etched across the soldiers’ faces, the film achieves a tactile realism that draws the viewer directly into the Rezang La battlefield. Its action set-pieces are among its strongest assets, mounted with clarity and a grounded understanding of military manoeuvres. In those moments, the film rises to its fullest cinematic potential.”
Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), the film is an Excel Entertainment production and has been released in theaters on November 21, 2025
