Videos of prisoners, including serial rapist Umesh Reddy and a terror case accused, using mobile phones inside Bengaluru’s Central Prison have surfaced. This security lapse has prompted an inquiry into how the phones were provided and who is involved. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has ordered a report and action against those responsible.

Police sources said the cyber fraud network, active since 2024, was a highly sophisticated and organised syndicate with links across multiple states and digital platforms

The display also featured aircraft that took part in Operation Sindoor, adding symbolic value to the event.
