Abhishek Banerjee, a senior Trinamool Congress leader, has strongly criticized the BJP after a Delhi police letter referred to Bengali as “Bangladeshi language.” Banerjee condemned this as a deliberate insult and an attempt to undermine Bengali identity, accusing the BJP of systematically maligning Bengal and its culture.
