After more than three months hiatus, the unit of Jr NTR’s upcoming film is set to resume work. Director Prashanth Neel is clearing all the decks for the smooth progress of the shooting. According to reports, Dragon (working title) is set to restart shooting in the first week of December in Hyderabad.

The film shooting was initially supposed to resume from November 19, but the filmmakers had to push back to the first week of December due to production and logistic issues. The shooting will resume in a specially constructed set in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The director will start filming scenes on Jr NTR for around 20 days before taking a Christmas break. The actor will shoot for intense action sequences in his new lean and toned body look. A bushy beard complements his ripped physique. A source close to the unit says, “Jr NTR took time to get a chiselled body naturally. He is up and running, and is game to commence shooting. Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel too capitalized on this time to tweak the script to suit the fans demand. Both the actor and director are determined to compensate for the lost time. After the Hyderabad schedule, the unit would fly abroad (likely to Tunisia) to film high octane action episodes. These action blocks would be a major highlight in the action entertainer.

Dragon is potentially part of a new cinematic universe, with a story that has been revised to ensure it meets high expectations of the fans. It is being described as a film that is potentially being planned as a two-part franchise. The makers are planning to officially confirm the title announcement ‘Dragon’ in January 2026. Dragon is tipped to be an epic action saga with emotionally charged incidents that take place over a period of time.
