Exclusive: I was insanely possessive about my wife says Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan have no ordinary love story. The lovers tied the knot at a young age, and went on to create a beautiful family. While they are one of the most adored couples in Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan had once opened up about his toxic habits as a newly-married husband.

During an exclusive interview with Filmfare, King Khan revealed being “insanely possessive” about Gauri. Opening up further, he had quipped that he could not tolerate any man, young or old, speaking to Gauri during the initial years of their marriage. “I’d get irritated even if she spoke to a six-year-old boy,” he added.

However, the actor had also added that he became quite easy as a husband after some time. Adding that he is more secure in his relationship with Gauri, he said, “Today I’ve eased up. I’m more secure.”

Exclusive: Mona Singh on debuting with Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin

Mona Singh has recently opened up about her unconventional debut with Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. The actress portrayed the role of Jasmeet Walia, who faced demeaning behaviour from her colleagues due to her appearance. While speaking to Filmfare, the actress quipped about the challenges she faced while filming the popular serial and how she showed up to work every day while dressing up as Jassi.

When asked about the difficulties she had to undergo while filming Jassi, the actress said, “It wasn’t difficult at all. I was passionate and driven towards it because that is the only thing that I wanted to do.” Calling herself “fortunate,” Mona noted that starting in the industry with a show like Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin was a dream-come-true for her. “My only plan in life was to act and showcase my talent. I wanted to get the opportunities that I am getting now. But to start with a show like Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin was like a dream come true. I was never tired. Of course, there were days when it used to get a little taxing because the lead of a show is there in every scene. Otherwise, I was charged up most of the time,” she added.

Mona also added that her parents wanted her to make the most out the opportunity. “I told my parents about the way I’m going to look and they were fine with it. They wanted me to follow the unconventional path. They wanted me to make my own identity in my own way,” she noted.

Speaking about the grueling audition process, Mona also said, “I was a newcomer myself and auditioning for a year and a half before I got Jassi. I was completely shocked and taken aback when I got the role. The producers told me that they would try to give me one day off a week. They said it would be very tough.”
