Mona Singh and Kunaal Roy Kapur recently sat with Filmfare for a heartwarming chat about their show Thode Door Thode Paas. The actors opened up about the slice-of-life family series. It is all about heartwarming moments amid the family’s decision to go for a digital detox.

Mona said, “I’ve always liked drama. I love slice of life stories. These stories help you sit with your family. They are no brainers. You just have a good time. They make you reflect on your life. You ask the important questions like ‘What are you doing?’ ‘Where are you headed?’ You start setting your priorities and boundaries right. You value family life and family time. As an actor, it is also our social responsibility to be a part of these shows. In these, people get inspired to take charge of their life and do something different.”
She further shared, “The characters have left an emotional impact on people. And it’s very rare that actors get the opportunity to do that. So we’ve both been very fortunate in that way. Some of the projects we’ve been a part of have actually changed the way people think. They have helped people introspect and understand the direction in which they are going.”
Agreeing to Mona, Kunaal added, “And I think that this show, Thode Door Thode Paas is also the one that will help with take a little pause. It’ll help families sit and reflect on the relationship they have with social media and the internet. They will try to understand their relationship with digital mass media. I’m just happy to be a part of these kinds of projects which stay a little bit longer in people’s minds.”

Thode Door Thode Paas is currently streaming on Zee 5.

Tanuj shared, “One of my favourite movies is Heat, starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. It’s a story that tracks two sides of a crime, criminal and cop, and it’s so beautifully done. My dream was always to make a female version of Heat. This season was a chance to live out that dream. It is the same thing with Christopher Nolan’s Batman and Joker. There’s so much to play when you can get into the mind of both the criminal and the cop at the same time as the stories are interweaving. It’s a very delicate and beautiful thing to put out. Netflix has just done an amazing job bringing it to life with all these visuals. I go to sleep very happy at night.”
