Makers Drop Welcome To The Jungle Title Track Featuring Akshay Kumar Suniel Shetty and More

The wait for one of Bollywood’s most anticipated multi-starrers is finally getting shorter. The makers have officially dropped the title track for Welcome To The Jungle after the teaser release few days ago. Headlined by Akshay Kumar, the film boasts one of the largest star-studded ensemble casts assembled for a Hindi film in recent times. Alongside Akshay, the film stars Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, and Lara Dutta, among several other celebrated stars.

The newly released title track is a high-energy, explosive mass entertainer designed specifically for the big screen. Originally composed by the duo Sajid-Wajid, the song has been recreated by Vikram Montrose. It carries forward the iconic musical legacy of the Welcome franchise by blending the original lyrics written by Shabbir Ahmed with fresh lyrics penned by Meggha Bali. The vocals for this version have been delivered by Shaan, Priya Patidar, and Vikram Montrose himself.

The title track is just a glimpse of a larger, visually and sonically massive soundtrack. The full album will feature six tracks spanning across groove anthems, glamorous dance numbers, and grand cinematic set pieces packed with big Bollywood energy.

Sharing his thoughts on the musical vision, Director Ahmed Khan said, “We wanted every song in Welcome To The Jungle to feel cinematic, entertaining, and mounted on a massive scale. Music plays a huge role in building the world and energy of the film.”

Music Director Vikram Montrose added, “This soundtrack celebrates everything audiences love about big Bollywood entertainers. The idea was to create songs that feel energetic, stylish, theatrical, and instantly memorable.”

Mandar Thakur, CEO of Junglee Music/Times Music, also expressed his excitement regarding the project, stating, “The Welcome franchise has always stood for larger-than-life entertainment, and with Welcome To The Jungle, Junglee Music is delivering a soundtrack that lives up to that legacy, and then some. These tracks are going to hit different.”

Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, Welcome To The Jungle promises a mix of comedy, chaos, and nostalgia. The title track is currently streaming on all major audio platforms, and the full video can be watched on the Times Music YouTube channel.

Exclusive: Diljit Dosanjh to Skip Main Vaapas Aaunga Promotions Keeps Hands-Off Approach to Film PR

Diljit Dosanjh will not be doing traditional promotional rounds for his upcoming release Main Vaapas Aaunga, continuing a pattern that has become something of a trademark for the Punjabi superstar. According to a source close to the actor, the decision is deliberate and consistent with how he handled his last major Bollywood outing.
“Diljit Dosanjh has taken the decision to not promote his latest release Main Vaapas Aaunga. This is in line with his stance of not promoting Border 2 as well. It’s not that he has a problem with film promotions, but he doesn’t want to be exposed to the rigmarole of media queries and unnecessary controversies. He’s very excited for the release of Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga, but he doesn’t want to adopt the run-of-the-mill approach to making noise about this movie,” the source revealed.

The decision will raise eyebrows but will surprise few who have followed Dosanjh’s career closely. It was only in April that the singer-actor sat alongside director Imtiaz Ali, composer AR Rahman and lyricist Irshad Kamil to tease the film’s music, a rare and carefully curated public appearance that pointedly came after he had stayed away from the Border 2 press circuit altogether. The war drama, which starred Sunny Deol and Suniel Shetty, was already dogged by industry controversy surrounding Dosanjh, making his absence from its promotional tour the path of least resistance.
That controversy stemmed from the backlash over Sardaar Ji 3, in which Dosanjh had cast Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. Released internationally in June 2025 and withheld from Indian cinemas, the film triggered boycott calls from film bodies including the FWICE and AICWA, and briefly saw aspersions being cast around Dosanjh involvement with Border 2, before it was made official that he was slated to complete his portion of the shoot.

For Main Vaapas Aaunga, however, the calculus is different. The Partition-era romantic drama, Dosanjh’s second collaboration with Imtiaz Ali after the acclaimed Amar Singh Chamkila, arrives with none of that political baggage. Instead, our source suggests Diljit has developed a broader aversion to the media circuit itself, wary of being pulled into controversies that have little to do with the work on screen.

It is a philosophy increasingly shared by top-tier global artists who let the art speak for itself. Whether Bollywood’s promotional machine built on chat shows, airport photo ops and reality TV appearances, is ready to accept that calculus remains another question entirely. But out in the West, where Diljit frequently collabs and talks about his music and career, this restrained approach has become somewhat of a trend.
Main Vaapas Aaunga also features Sharvari, Vedang Raina and Naseeruddin Shah with music by Rahman. It will release in cinemas on June 12, 2026.
