Luke Thompson may be the newest face to step into the spotlight of Bridgerton as the lead, but he didn’t walk into the Regency drama without reassurance from those who had already weathered the storm. In an exclusive conversation with Filmfare, the actor reflected on the support he received from fellow cast members Jonathan Bailey and Luke Newton, both of whom have experienced the intense attention that comes with being the lead in the leading the Netflix series.

When asked whether the actors offered him advice, Thompson shared that while there were no formal sit-downs or lectures, the support was always present. “I was always offered advice, and that was really useful and comforting,” he said. Simply knowing help was available made a significant difference. “Had I had any questions, I would be helped,” he added. For Thompson, the reassurance lay not in constant guidance, but in the knowledge that he wouldn’t be going through the experience alone.

He also acknowledged that every actor approaches pressure differently. With Bridgerton being a global phenomenon, the expectations can vary wildly depending on personal temperament and career stage. “Actors have different pressures or different things they worry about,” Thompson explained, suggesting that what works for one performer may not necessarily work for another.

Because of this, he consciously chose to find his own footing. He admitted that, as much as possible, he wanted to figure things out independently. “It’s such a personal thing,” he noted, emphasising the importance of trusting one’s own instincts. Still, the presence of Bailey and Newton served as a safety net. Thompson knew that if questions arose or doubts crept in, support was only a conversation away.

Interestingly, Jonathan Bailey was the lead with Simone Ashley in the second season of the show. Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan served as the leads in the third season. Now, Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha will bring forth the romance of Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek in the fourth season.

Many celebrities had driven down to the farmhouse in Panvel to be a part of the celebrations. Amongst them were Mahendra Singh Dhoni with his family. Now, Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri has shared clicks of Khan and Dhoni, happily posing with their families. The photos also include Sakshi Singh Dhoni, Alvira Agnihotri and Arpita Khan Sharma.

In the clicks, the Battle of Galwan star was wearing blue distressed jeans, black shirt and his signature bracelet. Dhoni, on the other hand, was seen in brown jacket, black T-shirt and navy blue jeans. The two were all smiles as the cameras captured them, along with the other members of their respective families.
