Everybody is a style gangster until the fashion mogul turns to the show. Kim Kardashian has often served us with multiple iconic fashion moments that we have very preciously saved in our style files. Kim’s latest collaboration for Skims with Swarovski served as another occasion for the diva to showcase her love for everything bejewelled. Shine bright seems to be Kim’s motto of late. For her latest appearance for the collaboration, she almost doused herself in Swarovski jewels. She opted for a jewel-encrusted halterneck top paired with a similar mini skirt. She covered herself in crystals for the launch party of her new Swarovski X SKIMS collection. Her transparent silver heels completed the monotone style. Kim’s middle name is extra and until that is reflected in her style, the look isn’t complete. Her top came with a backless pattern. It featured flossing chain details at the back with jewel hangings. Well, it truly was a surprising spin to this embellished fit. She sure was shining bright like a diamond.

EL Nino Conditions To Last Till April 2024, Says UN Agency

EL Nino Conditions To Last Till April 2024, Says UN Agency

The ongoing El Nino event is expected to last at least until April 2024, influencing weather patterns and contributing to a further spike in temperatures on land and over the ocean, according to a new update from the World Meteorological Organisation.

The India Meteorological Department earlier this month said EL Nino conditions — abnormal warming of surface waters in the central Pacific Ocean — are not likely to influence the southwest monsoon season next year.

Amid intensifying El Nino conditions, India received “below-average” cumulative rainfall — 820 mm compared to the long-period average of 868.6 mm — during the southwest monsoon season this year.

As of mid-October, sea surface temperatures and other atmospheric and oceanic indicators in the central-eastern tropical Pacific are consistent with El Nino, the warm phase of El Nino/Southern Oscillation (ENSO).

The El Nino event developed rapidly during July-August and reached moderate strength by September, and is likely to peak as a strong event in November 2023 to January 2024. There is a 90 per cent likelihood it will persist throughout the upcoming northern hemisphere winter/southern hemisphere summer, the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) said in a statement.

Based on historical patterns and current long-range predictions, it is anticipated the El Nino event will gradually diminish during the forthcoming boreal spring, said the WMO update, which combines forecasts and expert guidance from around the world.

El Nino occurs every two to seven years on average and typically lasts nine to 12 months. It is a naturally occurring climate pattern associated with warming of the ocean surface in the central and eastern tropical Pacific Ocean. But it takes place in the context of a climate being changed by human activities.

“El Nino impacts on global temperature typically play out in the year after its development, in this case in 2024. But as a result of record high land and sea-surface temperatures since June, the year 2023 is now on track to be the warmest year on record. Next year may be even warmer. This is clearly and unequivocally due to the contribution of the increasing concentrations of heat-trapping greenhouse gases from human activities,” said WMO Secretary-General Prof Petteri Taalas.

“Extreme events such as heat waves, drought, wildfires, heavy rain and floods will be enhanced in some regions, with major impacts. That is why WMO is committed to the Early Warnings for All initiative to save lives and minimise economic losses,” he said.

The previous warmest year on record was 2016 due to a “double whammy” of an exceptionally strong El Nino and climate change.

A strong El Nino does not necessarily mean strong El Nino impacts locally.

El Nino, however, is not the only factor that drives global and regional climate patterns and the magnitudes of El Nino indicators do not directly correspond to the magnitudes of their effects. No two El Nino events are alike.

Megan Fox Reveals She Suffered Miscarriage At 10 Weeks, “I Have To Say Goodbye”

Actor Megan Fox published her debut poetry collection, ‘Pretty Boys Are Poisonous‘, on Tuesday and revealed about abusive relationships, love addiction, and the miscarriage of a baby girl. In her two poems, Ms Fox writes about an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks, “maybe if you hadn’t… maybe if I had…”

She also writes, “I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh,” and later, “but now / I have to say / goodbye.” In another line, she imagines holding the baby “as they rip you from my insides.”

“I will pay any price,” writes Ms Fox. “Tell me please / what is the ransom / for her soul?”

According to People, in May 2022, Ms Fox’s fiance Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, dedicated his Billboard Music Awards performance of his song “Twin Flame” to Fox, sharing, “And this is for our unborn child.”

In her poetry, she also talked about toxic relationships and abuse.

In a previous statement, Ms Fox said that writing was her “attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence.”

“I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins,” she said. “My freedom lives in these pages, and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness.”

In an interview with Good Morning America, Ms Fox shared that Mr Kelly had encouraged her to write the poetry book.

“I just think it was something inside of me that had to come out because it was going to make me sick,” she said.

“I wrote a lot of things that didn’t make it in the book,” Ms Fox said. “Because I was like, this is maybe for God’s eyes only. Some of it is too much when you’re a known person. If I had the freedom of just being a poet and people really not wanting to dig too much into my personal life, I would have included more entries like that.”

She announced the book in an Instagram post. Ms Fox wrote, “I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins.”

“My freedom lives in these pages, and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness,” she wrote.
