The romantic drama Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, is having a decent performance at the box office. The film started its run with an impressive collection of Rs 10.10 crore on its opening day, showing a promising start. Early estimates suggest that the movie further collected between Rs 7.50 and 8.50 crore on its second day, hence bringing its total collection to approximately Rs 18–18.50 crore within a span of just two days.
The film’s budget was Rs 25 crore, and it has already recovered approximately 40% of its cost within the first two days of release. If this positive trajectory continues throughout the weekend, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat may soon recover its entire budget and achieve profitability.

Although the film has received mixed reviews from critics, the audience seems to be responding positively, particularly those who enjoy romantic dramas. The positive word of mouth from the audience, along with the film’s music and the connection between the lead actors, seems to be helping it draw crowds to theatres.

By Wednesday, the film had earned an additional Rs 18.6 crore, bringing its total to Rs 43 crore by the end of the first working day after Diwali. With the weekend coming, Thamma is expected to earn more with the buzz around the film being there amongst the family audience.
