The father of the MBBS student from Odisha, who was gangraped in West Bengal’s Durgapur, has said he will be taking his daughter back to Odisha and that he is concerned about her safety in Bengal.

A friend of a 23-year-old Odisha college student, who was allegedly gang-raped by unidentified men near her institute in West Bengal’s Durgapur, is also under the scanner and the police must consider interrogating him, the women’s body has said.
