The CBI has urged the Supreme Court to overturn a Delhi High Court decision that excluded MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar from being prosecuted under the POCSO Act. Citing the L K Advani case, the CBI argued that lawmakers, as public servants, should face stricter penalties for offenses involving children, emphasizing their public trust and authority.
