Popular star kid: Meet Jayam Ravi’s son Aarav who debuted at age of eight, bagged Jury Award and is a dedicated student

Jayam Ravi has etched a phenomenal name in the South film industry, all thanks to his talented acting skills, which are almost lifelike. The actor got married to Aarti Ravi in 2009 and welcomed their sons, Aarav Ravi and Ayaan Ravi.

While not much is known about their little boys, the duo’s firstborn has already showcased unmatched talents in the world of movies. In this article, we will learn a little more about Jayam and Aarti’s son, Aarav Ravi.

Who is Aarav Ravi?

Aarav Ravi is the eldest son of Jayam Ravi and his ex-wife, Aarti. Born in June 2010, the little boy is currently completing his schooling at the Trivandrum International School.

While he is not a social media user and his parents prefer to give him as normal and low-key upbringing as possible, the star kid has already grabbed considerable attention for his talents themselves.

Aarav Ravi made his film debut as a child artist at the age of 8

Well, speaking about the unmatched talents of the little one, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that he chose to follow in the footsteps of his father from quite an early age. He made his debut in his father’s film Tik Tik Tik in 2018, at the age of 8.

Aarav essayed the younger version of his father’s on-screen character in the film. Within no time, his performance was noticed by the audience and applauded immensely.

Aarav Ravi bagged the award for the Best Debut (child actor)

That’s not all to Aarav Ravi’s foray into the acting world. His performance in the film Tik Tik Tik was so well-received that he ended up bagging the Best Debut (Child Actor) award in 2018 at the BOFTA Galatta Debut Awards 2018.

Besides this, he also won two crucial awards from SIIMA. These included the special jury award for child artist and the Best Child Artist Award the same year.

Aarav Ravi is a loving big brother to his sibling, Ayaan

While he may have received such immense applause and recognition at quite an early age, Aarav Ravi has not lingered on much inside the film world and has gone back to experiencing a normal childhood and completing his schooling and education.

On the other hand, Aarav is a doting elder brother to his sibling, Ayaan Ravi. The duo share a loving, encouraging and protective bond like no other, and proof of the same has often been showcased in the pictures that their parents have shared over time.

Aarav and his brother, Ayaan, grabbed limelight after their parents’ announced split

After the unexpected separation announcement was made between Jayam Ravi and his wife Aarti on social media, the interpersonal equations of the family came under a lot of scrutiny. In fact, their sons Aarav and Ayaan also grabbed the spotlight due to the unfortunate cause.

While the former couple have requested privacy from the audience, questions about the custody of the two brothers, Aarav and Ayaan, have been buzzing amongst audiences every now and then. However, no official confirmation on the matter has been revealed yet.

Well, having scored such a high stride at a young age, it would be interesting to witness the career graph Aarav Ravi would make in the future.

Did you know Saif Ali Khan never gets his Pataudi Palace painted? Sharmila Tagore keeps ‘hisab-kitab’ reveals Soha Ali Khan

Soha Ali Khan reflected on her royal heritage and the family’s Pataudi Palace, which she mentioned is chiefly owned by her brother, Saif Ali Khan. She noted that the Khan family never gets the Palace painted but gets it whitewashed cause it’s less expensive. She also revealed that her mother Sharmila Tagore keeps a check on ‘hisab-kitab’

In a chat with Cyrus Broacha on the Housing.com YouTube channel, she also said that her mother, veteran actor, still keeps a tab on the palace’s daily maintenance expenses. “My mother sits with her hisaab-kitaab; she knows daily expenditure and monthly expenditure. For example, we whitewash Pataudi, it’s not painted because it’s a lot less expensive. And we haven’t bought anything new for a long time. It’s the architecture of the place that’s most inviting; it’s not the things, it’s not the objects”.

Soha shared details about the history of Pataudi Palace, revealing that she was born after the abolition of privy purses and royal titles in 1970. She mentioned that her brother, Saif, was born a prince as he arrived that same year. With these titles, she said, came both responsibilities and expenses.

Soha suggested that her grandmother’s father may have been somewhat envious of her grandfather due to his competitive nature as a sportsman. However, while building the palace to impress him, her grandfather ran out of funds. As a result, many parts of the palace were covered with carpets because there wasn’t enough money to complete the flooring with marble, leaving cement underneath.

She also mentioned that since the ‘generator room’ belongs to her, she is responsible for its maintenance. This ‘generator room’ is actually a two-bedroom apartment. She explained that when the palace was leased to Neemrana Hotels, her parents needed a place to stay, so the generator room was transformed into a two-BHK.

Soha also referenced Saif’s previous comments, where he stated that he had to buy the palace back after it had been leased to a hotel chain. Now, the family uses it as a vacation home and rents it out for film productions. The movie Animal and Saif’s series Tandav were among the recent projects filmed at the iconic location.

Arvind Kejriwal Resigns After Choosing Atishi As His Replacement

Aam Aadmi Party boss Arvind Kejriwal quit as Delhi Chief Minister – in favour of colleague Atishi – Tuesday evening, capping a dramatic four days following his release on bail in the liquor policy case.

Mr Kejriwal met Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena – the centre’s rep in the national capital – at his residence to resign and recommend Atishi’s promotion. He was accompanied by his successor and also ex deputy Manish Sisodia, who too was arrested in the liquor policy case and is also out on bail.

Shortly afterwards a determined Atishi told reporters the AAP would work for the people of Delhi and to ensure victory in the Delhi election (and the return of Mr Kejriwal), whom she hailed as her “mentor”.

Earlier today the AAP said Atishi had been unanimously selected as leader of its legislative party, i.e., leader of its MLAs, and would replace Mr Kejriwal till the next Assembly election, which is due in February. Mr Kejriwal has, though, called for an early election, perhaps as soon as next month.

Speaking shortly afterwards, Atishi said Mr Kejriwal’s return will be the goal of her government and all AAP lawmakers. She appealed to voters to “make your son, your brother, Chief Minister again”.

“Arvind Kejriwal believed in me… AAP believed in me. That is why I have been given this responsibility. While I am happy in this trust, I am also sad Arvind Kejriwal had to resign,” the incoming Chief Minister told reporters, “Delhi has only one Chief Minister… and that is Kejriwal.”

She also vowed to defend the AAP against the Bharatiya Janata Party’s “conspiracies”, accusing the opposition party of pursuing “fake charges’ against the outgoing Chief Minister; Mr Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in March, and again by the Central Bureau of Investigation in June, on money laundering and corruption charges linked to the liquor policy scam.

On Sunday, two days after leaving jail, Mr Kejriwal dropped a political bombshell, even surprising some within his own party. Mr Kejriwal – who has denied corruption charges and accused the BJP of framing him – said he would not govern Delhi till he gets “justice from the people’s court”.

“I got justice from the legal courts… now I will get justice from the people’s court. I want to ask the people of Delhi, is Kejriwal innocent or guilty? If I have worked, vote for me,” he declared.
