The Voice Season 26: Why Did Snoop Dogg Save Gail Bliss With Replay Button During Blind Auditions? Find Out

Snoop Dogg remembered his late mother after he felt her presence on The Voice! Snoop stated that his late mother encouraged him to use his one Coach Replay button on 61-year-old Gail Bliss in the episode of the singing competition series.

Gail Bliss, 61, sang a passionate rendition of the SteelDrivers song If It Hadn’t Been for Love, and following it, Snoop said, “The spirit of my mother is in you right now.”

The rapper continued, “My mother’s sister’s name was Gail, which was one of my favorite aunties. However, this year they included the Coach’s Replay, which means that if I were to press this button right now, you would be on my team.”

Then Snoop pressed the red button, causing Bliss, the oldest competitor to date, to burst into tears and begin jumping up and down.

The Young, Wild & Free singer’s mom passed away in October 2021 from an undisclosed disease. Dogg’s mother was 70 years old. Following his mother’s passing, the grieving son honored her memory with several Instagram posts. “My mother’s spirit is all in you right now,” Snoop told her as he gave her a firm hug.

Snoop cried during last week’s season premiere when coach Reba McEntire used her button for contestant Kendall Eugene. In response to host Carson Daly’s question about what his mother had said to him at that very moment, Snoop stated, “You need this woman on your team. You need some wisdom.”

The oldest contender of the season, Bliss, jumped with excitement and was happy. She stated in her introduction that she is a South Carolina native who has worked as a flight attendant for many years and is a professional singer. She has always wanted to try out for The Voice and mentioned it was on her bucket list.

The Voice broadcasts on NBC on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. The show is available to stream on Peacock the following day.

Did Tom Hardy Just Address His Final Appearance In Sony’s Spider-Man Universe? Know As Venom: The Last Dance Star Shares Heartfelt Statement

Venom happens to be the franchise that gave a push start to Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. While its third installment, Venom: The Last Dance, is nearing its release, people have been speculating that it would be the last time we will see Tom Hardy in a Marvel movie. Well, the actor has come forth to address the rumor.

In a recently uploaded post by the official page of Venom movie, the actor commented on the film franchise, also seemingly bidding farewell to it.

As seen on his Instagram, Tom Hardy took time to promote his upcoming film. Meanwhile, he even added a big statement that has made the fans of the Venom franchise worry about its future.

“That’s all she wrote for me and the big guy; we promise to make this the best of them all,” Hardy wrote.

The This Means War actor also mentioned that he, along with the team associated with the Venom movies, loved bringing in these epic entries to the fans.

While Hardy thanked everyone for the love and support they have given to the Venom movies, he also asked his followers to join “for the Last Dance.”

“For those of you that enjoy a good time from all of us in the team – Let us entertain you,” the actor’s concluding words read in his post.

Venom: The Last Dance is the third and possibly the final entry in the franchise that began back in 2018. Its second installment, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, although had a grand cast, received mixed reactions from the audience.

Whether or not this will be the last film of Hardy in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, the movies surrounding it have not been well received.

Till now, Venom films happen to be the only projects that have gotten the love they deserved from the superhero fanatics, while Madame Web and Morbius became the ones that were criticized for their VFX as well as storylines.

Hardy seemingly bidding farewell to the franchise might not exactly mean that he won’t appear in any future movies with his Symbiote.

While fighting the big bad god of Symbiotes, Knull, in the upcoming movie, one of the two or both might die. We have a high chance that Venom and Eddie Brock will appear in the Marvel Studios film Avengers: Secret Wars.

Venom: The Last Dance is set to release on October 25, 2024.

Video: Massive Crater Near Mossad HQ After Iran’s Big Missile Offensive

One of the 180-odd ballistic missiles Iran fired last night landed near the Tel Aviv headquarters of Israeli intelligence service Mossad. A video that has emerged on social media shows a massive crater near the Mossad headquarters after Tehran’s missile offensive.

CNN geolocated the video and found it was shot from a high-rise apartment building in Herzliya, less than 3 kilometers from Mossad headquarters.

The video shows the huge crater in what appears to be a parking lot. The missile strike threw up dust and several vehicles parked nearby were covered in soil. This crater is a few hundred metres away from a cinema complex.

Air raid sirens rang through Israeli cities and about 10 million rushed to take refuge in bomb shelters last when after Iran launched a barrage of missiles.

The Israel Defense Forces have said most of the missiles were intercepted by the country’s advanced defence systems Iron Dome and Arrow. But some penetrated the shield, leading to minor damage.

The missile offensive was in retaliation to the killing of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Israeli military strikes.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Iran made a “big mistake” and warned that it “will pay for it”.

Guy Nir, spokesperson for the Israeli embassy in India, told NDTV that Tehran would get an appropriate response. “If he (Iran leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei) plans to initiate a full-scale war with Israel, it will be a mistake for them (Iran). Israel’s response is going to be strategic and pin-pointed, and not a full-scale war. I don’t think any side wants that.”

Iran’s Ambassador to India Iraj Elahi has warned that Tehran will strike Israel again if it doesn’t de-escalate tensions. “If the Hitler of our time (Netanyahu) stops his brutality and hostility, his country won’t have to face the consequences,” Mr Elahi told NDTV.

Israel’s all-weather ally US has warned Iran, saying that the missile strike marked a “significant escalation”. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan pledged that the US would stand by Israel and support any retaliatory measures.
