Triptii Dimris spokesperson issues clarification amid event controversy

Actress Triptii Dimri faced a lot of trolling after she reportedly skipped an event in Jaipur by the Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO. She allegedly charged Rs 5.5 lakhs for the event but failed to attend it. Following this, the organizers expressed their anger and threatened to boycott the actress. Some women even blackened a poster of the Animal actress. Now, amid this outrage, her spokesperson has shared an official statement. It reads, “During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vaidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honored her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film.”

The statement continued, “Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It is important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Triptii is awaiting the release of her film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao. 

The film is set to have a theatrical release on October 11.

Devara: Part 1: Jr NTRs movie remains steady at the box office

Devara: Part 1 performed well on its first four days at the box office. It earned an estimated Rs 173.35 crores in India. On its fifth day,  the movie earned around 13.50 crores for all languages.

It had an overall 27.96% Telugu occupancy and 14.52% Hindi occupancy on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The Telugu version of Devara: Part 1 had a theatre occupancy of 17.32% in the morning shows, 22.43% in the afternoon shows, 27.89% in the evening shows, and 44.20% in the night shows.

The Hindi version of the movie had a theatre occupancy of 8.37% in the morning shows, 13.06% in the afternoon shows, 13.19% in the evening shows, and 23.47% in the night shows.

On the first day, i.e. the movie’s first Friday in the theatres, it had earned around Rs 82.5 crores, while it had earned Rs. 38.2 crores on Saturday and Rs. 39.9 crores on Sunday.
