In Kalkaji, South Delhi, a neem tree collapsed due to heavy rains on Thursday morning, critically injuring two individuals. Sudhir Kumar, 50, and his daughter Priya, 22, were riding a motorcycle when the tree fell on them. They were promptly rescued and taken to Safdarjung Trauma Centre.

A DRG jawan was injured by an IED planted by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur during an anti-Naxal operation. The incident occurred in Indravati area.
