BJP secured 7 out of 12 seats in the MCD by-elections, retaining its lead but falling short of a majority. AAP won 3 seats, Congress 1, and All India Forward Bloc secured a victory in Chandni Mahal. The results indicate a shift in the political landscape ahead of the mayoral polls.

Residents now officially fall under Yarab Nagar Ward for all civic and administrative purposes including voter lists, property records, grievance redressal, and municipal services.
