Advocate Hitesh Jain resigned as full-time member of the 23rd Law Commission, with his resignation accepted by the President effective October 29, the Union Law Ministry announced.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Thursday said the party has in recent years become more Leftist as it seeks to counter the “divisive politics” of BJP.
