United States forces launched pre-dawn airstrikes in Venezuela, leading to the capture of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. Confirmed by President Trump, the operation involved elite Delta Force units and resulted in Maduro’s transfer to US custody in New York. Charges of narco-terrorism and drug trafficking have been filed against the couple.

The clip details a US military operation, “Operation Absolute Resolve”, carried out on Janaury 3 to capture Maduro in Caracas after a “large-scale strike.” The video depicts a video montage of night-vision footage and official briefings by Trump and other US officials. “​Nicolas Maduro had his chance — until he didn’t. The Trump Admin will always defend American citizens against all threats, foreign and domestic,” the White House posted on X.
