Dolly Parton revealed that a few months ago Princess of Wales had invited her over for tea during her visit across the pond last year, but unfortunately, it wasn’t on the cards for the two to meet, thanks to the singer’s hectic schedule. Well, worry not, because the fans just might see the royals hanging out with the Jolene singer sooner than expected. 

The 78-year-old has extended an open invitation to Kate Middleton and her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to come to her very own amusement park, in Tennessee, USA. In an interview with Closer, she said, “Oh, I would absolutely love for them to come to Dollywood, that would be fantastic!” Parton promised that the kids and Kate would get their money’s worth if they decided to visit. She added, “The kids could go on all the rides and we would treat them like royalty!” 9 to 5 singer joked that she’d even go as far as to give her mashed potatoes to Kate, saying, “I wouldn’t put on any airs for them.” 

She reiterated, “I would just let them enjoy what we enjoy, and I’m sure that’s the way they would want it,” adding, “I would love to have those kids at Dollywood.” 

Christina Applegate shared a strong negative opinion about Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 Presidential Elections that went viral. She expressed her dislike over the election results on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Please unfollow me if you voted against female rights. Against disability rights. Yeah, that. Unfollow me because what you did is unreal.”  

She further emphasized that she would prefer not to have a follower like this (those who voted for Trump) and said she’d be shutting down her X account, which she used to interact with her fans. “This is sick,” she added. Her reaction made headlines and prompted hateful comments from some sensitive fans. 

One person wrote back to Applegate: “I genuinely have no idea who you are, but Kamala Harris has no one to blame for her loss but herself. You’re just whining. Get over it.”

Marvel fans may see more of Channing Tatum as Gambit, following his cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. Tatum’s portrayal has reportedly drawn Marvel’s attention, with Ryan Reynolds, who stars as Deadpool, suggesting the studio is highly interested in Tatum’s performance. Reynolds revealed Marvel’s enthusiasm during a recent interview, noting that Tatum’s role as Gambit stands out due to his physical presence and unique approach to the character. Tatum has been associated with Gambit for years, as he was originally set to play the character in a Fox-produced film before the project was canceled.

In his conversation, Reynolds compared Tatum’s journey with Gambit to his own experience with Deadpool. He recalled how leaked test footage of his portrayal of Deadpool back in 2014 helped persuade Fox to greenlight the film. Reynolds mentioned that Tatum’s performance might have a similar impact on Marvel’s decision-making process, as studios often need to witness a character’s effectiveness on screen before fully committing.
