Is Miles Morales Coming To MCU? Learn As Marvel Studios’ CEO Kevin Feige Teases Live-Action Debut

With Spider-Man being one of the most favorite superheroes of all time, Miles Morales’ version of the web crawler gripped the fanatics with all the excitement. His introduction in Sony’s Spider-Verse movies soon made many die-hards wonder when they would see Miles Morales in the MCU as a live-action character.

All the questions related to the character were answered at the D23 Brazil in São Paulo by one and only Kevin Feige. The studio president, who is behind all the decisions related to Marvel’s superhero universe, surprised everyone, announcing the big news. Feige talked about Miles Morales’ future in the MCU.

While Feige first reconfirmed that Sony is working tirelessly to bring Miles Morales to the big screen, in the third installment of the Spider-verse film, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-verse, he then went on to add that a live-action Miles might be soon seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Miles will appear in the third ‘Spider-Verse’ movie, which is in production. I hope that, shortly after that, he can enter the MCU in live-action,” Kevin Feige stated at the D23 Brazil fan convention.

Speaking of Miles Morales’s current status in the MCU, he has already been slightly teased in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. It was when Tom Holland’s Spider-Man had a conversation with Donald Glover’s character, Aaron Davis.

For those who do not know, Aaron Davis is the uncle of Miles Morales. Meanwhile, Glover’s character was even seen in the movie, stating that he has a nephew living in New York.

To make it even more interesting to you, Aaron is the same uncle, who eventually becomes the prowler in the future.

In the recent entry of the Miles Morales animated Spider-Man movie, Donald Glover’s Aaron Davis was seen again, wearing the costume of Prowler, confirming that in some universe, Glover is the live-action Prowler.

In this web of Spider-Man movies, Tom Holland recently confirmed that he will be reprising his role as the webslinger on the big screen, getting a fourth entry being the Spider-Man of the Earth-616.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the latest animated entry, which was released back in 2023.

The film had a grand cast of actors, with Shameik Moore voicing Miles Morales, Brian Tyree Henry as Jeff Morales, and Andy Samberg as Ben Reilly.

The movie even had Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man 2099, with Jack Quaid as Earth-65 Peter Parker. The voiceover of Gwen Stacy was done by Hailee Steinfeld.

“Censure And Restrain Rahul Gandhi’s Lies”: BJP To Election Commission

The BJP has said the Election Commission must “reprimand, censure, and restrain” Rahul Gandhi from “handing out lies during campaigning” for next week’s Maharashtra election.

The ruling party called on the poll panel to act against the Congress MP for “gross violation” of the Model Code of Conduct, referring to a section of speech in Mumbai last week; in a written complaint to the EC Monday afternoon, the BJP said Mr Gandhi had “falsely accused other states of stealing and snatching alleged opportunities from the state of Maharashtra”.

The reference was to Mr Gandhi’s “totally unverified claims… that Apple’s iPhones and Boeing’s airplanes are being manufactured in other states at the expense of Maharashtra”.

The BJP also called on the poll panel to direct a police case be filed against Mr Gandhi and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge. “We told them Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi spoke lies in Maharashtra… he said BJP wants to crush the Constitution,” Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, who led the saffron party delegation that met top election officials, said.

Karnataka Minister’s Racist Comment Against HD Kumaraswamy Sparks Row

A political controversy has broken out over an alleged racist remark by Karnataka Minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan against Union Minister and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy. Mr Kumaraswamy’s party has hit back at Mr Khan and demanded that the Congress government sack him from the Cabinet.

The leader issued the remark while talking about Channapatna Congress candidate CP Yogeeshwara who had joined BJP but came back to the Congress recently.

“Due to some differences in our party (Congress), he contested as an independent. He had no option but to join the BJP. He was not ready to join the JD(S) because ‘Kaaliya Kumaraswamy’ was more dangerous than the BJP. Now he (Yogeeshwara) has come back home,” the state minister said.

“Kaaliya” is a racist slur for dark-complexioned people.

Mr Yogeeshwara is contesting the Channapatna assembly bypoll against Mr Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy who is contesting as an NDA candidate on the JD(S) ticket.

JD(S) termed Mr Khan’s remark “racist” and sought to know the colour of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, ministers HC Mahadevappa, Satish Jarakiholi, Priyank Kharge and KH Muniyappa.

The nation vehemently condemns the disgraceful and racially charged remarks by Zameer Ahmed against HD Kumaraswamy. This kind of hateful language marks a new low in political discourse and has no place in a civilized society. We demand accountability from leaders who choose… https://t.co/teH4kZbzmN

Calling it a “new low in the political discourse”, the JD(S), posted on X: “Dismiss such a low mentality person from the Cabinet immediately”.

Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijijy also condemned Mr Khan’s remark. “I strongly deplore Congress Minister Zameer Ahmed calling Union Minister & Ex CM of Karnataka Sh. Kumaraswamy as ‘Kaalia Kumaraswamy’. This is a racist remark, same as Rahul Gandhi’s adviser calling South Indians look like Africans, North East as Chinese, North Indians as Arabs,” he posted on ‘X’.
