Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic candidate for mayor of New York City, has hit out at UK’s public broadcaster BBC for never referring to Israel Prime Minister as an “indicted-war-criminal”.

A vehicle rammed into a crowd of people waiting to enter a performance venue along a busy boulevard in Los Angeles early Saturday, injuring 30 people and leading bystanders to attack the driver, authorities said.

In Anjar, Gujarat, a 25-year-old woman police officer, Aruna Jadav, was murdered by her live-in partner, Dilip Jadav, a CRPF jawan. Following an argument, Dilip strangled Aruna at their rented home. He then attempted suicide but survived. On Saturday morning, Dilip surrendered to Anjar police and confessed to the crime. Police are investigating the events leading to Aruna’s death.
