Budding actress Rasha Thadani turned a year older on Monday (March 16). The makers of her upcoming Telugu film Srinivasa Mangapuram marked the occasion by unveiling a special glimpse introducing her character, Manga. “Her smile is simple, but the magic is unforgettable,” the team wrote while sharing the video.

Rasha Thadani is set to step into Telugu cinema opposite Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, a debutant from the family of superstar Mahesh Babu. Director Ajay Bhupathi is helming the project, which is expected to hit theatres in the second half of this year.
The young actress appears confident about making a strong impression with her South debut. The makers released a behind-the-scenes video that captures several moments from the film’s shoot. Going by the clip, Rasha seems to be thoroughly enjoying her time on the sets while working on her debut project.
Before this, Rasha made her Hindi film debut with Azaad (2025), where she shared screen space with actors like Ajay Devgn. Viewers quickly noticed her screen presence and praised her natural ease in front of the camera. The experience helped boost her confidence and prepared her for bigger opportunities.
Rasha has also built a strong presence on social media, with over 3.2 million followers on Instagram. She frequently shares photoshoots and glimpses from her daily life, which have helped her connect with fans online.
Her mother, actor Raveena Tandon, is known to guide her closely, offering advice drawn from her own long experience in the film industry.
Rasha appears to be eyeing a multi-lingual career, with Tollywood possibly being just the beginning. The 21-year-old actress also gained attention for the song Uyi Amma from her debut Hindi film, which went viral for its energetic presentation.
In Hindi, she is awaiting the release of Laikey Laikaa, described as a “dark love story,” co-starring Abhay Verma. The actress has said that her acting process has evolved as she learns to clearly separate herself from the characters she portrays. The film, expected to release this summer, promises to be an intense romantic drama.

Actors Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and others have expressed grief over the sudden passing of celebrity hairstylist Marce Pedrozo.
Remembering their close bond, Janhvi Kapoor shared a heartfelt note on Monday. She recalled how the two would often joke about their hectic schedules. “Every time I stepped into my van, we’d look at each other and scream in a high pitched mocking voice, ‘We have 20 minutes, chalo chalo chalo,’ and laugh at the madness of our crazy hours and impossible tasks. But in the middle of all that chaos, there was always a deep sense of trust and joy whenever we worked together. Sometimes we’d even sneak out to eat at restaurants when we should have been getting ready. You weren’t just part of my team, we were each other’s team.”
Sharing a few photos with him, she added, “I will miss you every day. Seeing your face at the beginning and end of every creative journey I’ve had over the past few years has been one of the biggest honours of my life. I hope you are happy wherever you are.”
Nora Fatehi also mourned the loss, remembering Pedrozo as someone extremely close to her. In an emotional Instagram Story, she described him as “a dear friend, a brother and a confidant,” adding that he always brought out the best side of her personality. She wrote that Marce Pedrozo was no longer with them and had sadly passed away.
Varun Dhawan too reacted with shock to the news of Pedrozo’s sudden demise.
Actor Tara Sutaria paid tribute by sharing an old post and wrote, “Rest peacefully, sweet Marcelo. My heart hurts to learn you are not with us anymore.”
Jacqueliene Fernandez also remembered him fondly, writing, “I will always remember you as a free spirited, pure soul who spread joy and love everywhere. Goodbye my friend, you will be deeply missed.”
