Dr. Kate Tomas Confirms She And Andrew Garfield Broke Up ‘Months Ago’: Details Inside

Andrew Garfield is back on the market as Kate Tomas recently revealed that she and the Amazing Spider-Man star broke up long ago. On Saturday, October 12, Tomas revealed in the comments section of an October 11 Instagram post that she and Garfield, 41, split “months ago.”

A fan had asked Tomas if she was “still dating Andrew Garfield” and told her, “Tell him I’m a fan of him, please.” Tomas replied, “We broke up months ago, but I’m sure he will be happy to know that he is loved.”

In the same post, a separate user asked her if she would ever stop speaking about Garfield, as he has not once spoken publicly about her. Tomas savagely replied, “Sweetheart, the only people who ever talk about or center a man in my life, work, business, and social media are women like you.”

The Oscar winner was first linked to the self-described British philosopher and spiritual reader in March when they held hands during a double date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham.

Garfield is notoriously private about his romantic relationships. In a 2021 interview with Bustle, the actor said he consciously chooses to keep his love life private. “I’m not in the public eye to a great degree because I’ve designed it that way for myself,” he said at the time.

The actor mentioned he is comfortable engaging with media and fans about his work, but otherwise, he fights for his right to privacy and his right to be ordinary, a mess, sorrowful, stupid, to commit wrong, and just be a regular human being.

In a new interview with Esquire published on October 2, Garfield reiterated that he has no intentions of sharing details of his personal and romantic relationships with the public. “I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone ever,” he told the outlet.

In the 2010s, Garfield was linked to his Spider-Man co-star Emma Stone. In late 2021, he began dating model Alyssa Miller, but the duo broke up in April 2022, according to a People source. Both these linkups remained as concealed as the one with Tomas.

In a July 2024 interview with The Sunday Times, Tomas opened up about the misogynistic nature of people’s interest in her relationship with Garfield. She first accused the media of taking 150 pictures of her when they could, but publishing only the four worst of them. Something that frustrated her even more, she said, was how her public identity as Garfield’s girlfriend manifested in criticism of her looks and work.

“It’s frustrating that no matter how accomplished or impactful a woman is, it’s always going to be more interesting if they are in a relationship with a man,” she said, expressing that she doesn’t want to sit under anybody’s shadow.

Bone Test Rules Out Baba Siddique Shooter’s Claim Of Being Minor: 10 Points

Mumbai Police investigating the murder case of veteran NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was shot dead near his son’s office in Mumbai’s Bandra on Saturday, conducted an ossification test of accused Dharmaraj Kashyap in which it was proved that he is not a minor.
Kashyap, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was produced before the court where his lawyer claimed that he was a minor.
Baba Siddique, 66, was shot dead by three persons at Kher Nagar in Mumbai’s Bandra area outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique’s office on Saturday night. He was cremated with full state honours in Mumbai on Sunday evening.
Among the three shooters, Gurmel Baljit Singh, 23, a resident of Haryana has also been arrested, while the third shooter, Shiv Kumar from Uttar Pradesh, is still on the run.
According to sources, the suspects have claimed that they work for gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is lodged at Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail.
Bishnoi was also involved in the shooting incident outside the Mumbai residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is known to have been a close friend of Mr Siddique.
The suspects had been monitoring Mr Siddique for months, conducting reconnaissance of his residence and office. The police revealed that the suspects were paid Rs 50,000 each in advance for the hit and that arms had been delivered to them only days before the assassination.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said the third accused will be arrested “soon”. “Be it the Bishnoi gang or any underworld gang, we won’t spare anyone,” he told reporters.
On Sunday evening, Mumbai Police’s crime branch also arrested 28-year-old Pravin Lonkar, a “co-conspirator” in the case, from Pune. They said they were on the lookout for his brother, Shubham Lonkar.
The brothers had hatched the conspiracy of Mr Siddique’s murder and enlisted Kashyap and Kumar Gautam in the plot.

How Shooters Used Procession, Firecrackers As Cover To Kill Baba Siddique

Former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique was shot under the cover of a Dussehra procession and fireworks. The 66-year-old was killed on Saturday evening, around 9.30 pm, as he left his son, MLA Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Mumbai’s Bandra East. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for the shooting.

A reconstruction of the killing made it clear how the shooters took advantage of the confusion and noise during the procession.

The four killers had apparently stationed themselves close to Siddique’s waiting car. As he came and tried to get inside, they let off some device that covered the area in thick smoke. Many thought it was the smoke from the firecrackers, which also masked the noise of gunshots.

Siddiqui was shot four times, on his chest and stomach. One of his aides also sustained gunshot wounds.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the murder, for which they had apparently put out a Rs 25 crore contract.

They have also warned that anyone who helps actor Salman Khan — near whose house it has already fired warning shots — will be targetted.

Siddique was known for hosting lavish parties and a five-year-long cold war between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan was resolved at his Iftaar party in 2013.

Three persons have been arrested for the murder, two of them are the shooters and the third a conspirator, the officers of Mumbai police have said.

Baba Siddiqui was killed by three shooters. Among them, Gurmel Singh is a resident of village Narad in Kaithal district in Haryana. The other two are residents of Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh. Gurmel and the second shooter, who claims to be a minor, have been arrested. The third shooter, Shiv Kumar, is on the run.

The last man to be arrested is Praveen, 28, who was caught in Pune. He is a conspirator and also the one who, in a Facebook post, issued a warning to those who helped actor Salman Khan, the police have said.
