Following the announcement of her second pregnancy, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has decided to continue her shoot for major film projects, which includes her upcoming film, Raaka. On Sunday, both Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to their social media to announce this exciting news. 

Taking to their Instagram account, the couple shared a picture of their firstborn daughter, Dua, holding a pregnancy test in her hand, which indicates her second pregnancy. Thrilled with the announcement, the couple received an overwhelming number of responses from their fans, friends, and loved ones. 

 

However, the actress has not yet talked about resuming her work in films, which clearly indicates that for Deepika, pregnancy does not mean that work has to be stopped. The actor, who has two big films lined up for release, is still on set and plans to continue filming through her pregnancy. As per the reports, “Amidst her pregnancy, Deepika Padukone is shooting intense action sequences for Raaka and will continue to shoot for the film throughout her pregnancy.”

The Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone, has recently started filming Atlee’s upcoming pan-India actioner Raaka, which also stars Allu Arjun in the lead. The film’s title and first look were recently revealed on Arjun’s birthday earlier this month. Meanwhile, Deepika also has some portions of Shah Rukh Khan’s King left to be shot. HT Digital reached out to industry sources about how the actor plans to manage these shoot schedules around her pregnancy, and according to that, Hindustan Times reports, “During her pregnancy, Deepika Padukone is shooting intense action sequences for Raaka.” Needless to say, Deepika and the makers have taken all precautions while filming. Given that both King and Raaka have announced release dates and are on tight schedules, Deepika wants to stick to it.

Bollywood actor Ahaan Pandey and Sharvari will be seen sharing screen in director Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming action film.  Presently, the shoot is taking place in Mumbai, and as per the new update, the team will be shifting to the UK for its upcoming schedule. However, before that, the team had planned to shoot a key song sequence spanning from April 18 to 21.

According to sources from Mid-day, “The song isn’t a break in the narrative. Ali wants the song to push the story forward. It’s got attitude, movement, and a certain rawness that matches Ahaan’s character. Choreographer Tejaswi Shetty is designing the number with a more physical, performance-driven style. Tejaswi’s brief was clear. It’s about body language, presence, and how Ahaan owns the frame.” 

 


“Once this song is done, the unit barely pauses. They have a two-month UK schedule, which is where the bulk of the film’s action and dramatic portions are set,” the source added.

This role will be a surprise to his fans who are gearing up to witness his acting in this never-before-seen avatar. 

Variety India suggests that the actor, Ahaan Pandey, has undergone intense training to portray this character in its rawest form. As per reports, Jimmy Shergill has also come on board and will be playing a key role in this film. Moreover, Jimmy Shergill’s part in this film will also mark his collaboration with YRF after nearly two decades. The film’s shooting has started from April 3 in Mumbai, and while the team is planning to move to London for its next schedule, the shoot is scheduled to wrap up by early 2027.
