The Ministry of Home Affairs has cancelled the FCRA certificate of Sonam Wangchuk’s SECMOL following a CBI inquiry. The ministry cited several violations of the FCRA, including discrepancies in financial transactions, misuse of funds, and acceptance of foreign contributions for activities deemed inappropriate. This action coincides with recent unrest in Ladakh over demands for statehood and constitutional protections.
