A Bengaluru techie, Atul Subhash, tragically died by suicide, alleging harassment by his wife and her family. Following the incident, his mother-in-law and brother-in-law have reportedly fled their Uttar Pradesh residence. Subhash’s brother filed an FIR accusing them of abetment to suicide and extortion, citing demands for large sums of money.

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal marked his 17th day of a hunger strike at the Khanauri border, protesting for farmer demands including an MSP guarantee law. In an open letter to PM Modi, Dallewal highlighted the government’s unfulfilled promises regarding MSP and the Swaminathan Commission’s recommendations, citing instances from 2011, 2014, and 2018.
