A portion of the Gambhira Bridge in Gujarat’s Vadodara district collapsed on Wednesday morning, resulting in eight fatalities and at least 10 injuries. The incident occurred on the Padra–Mujpur stretch, a crucial link between Central Gujarat and Saurashtra. A truck, van, and car plunged into the Mahisagar River after the bridge gave way.
