India has secured a three-year exemption from social security contributions for domestic workers who are temporarily in the UK and their employers under the Double Contribution Convention Agreement (DCCA).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a telephonic conversation with his UK counterpart, Keir Starmer, over the completion of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which the latter said was a “historic occasion” between the two countries.
