US President Donald Trump has announced that new reciprocal tariffs will affect all countries globally, rather than just 10-15 with major trade deficits. These tariffs aim to protect the domestic economy and secure better terms for the United States.

The government has indicated that it will discuss with leaders of different parties on Tuesday the timing of the Bill’s introduction. It is likely to be first introduced in the Lower House, probably on Wednesday
