Boman Iraniâs Hilarious Take on Trumpâs Peace Talks Goes Viral
The ongoing tensions in West Asia between the US-Israel alliance and Iran have sparked conversations far beyond the region, with ripple effects being felt in places like the UAE and India despite no direct involvement. Amid reports that Donald Trump is looking to initiate peace talks with Iran, Boman Irani added a humorous twist to the situation, jokingly offering to step in as a mediator alongside Smriti Irani and Aruna Irani.
He took to Instagram to share a video, captioning it, “The Iranis are ready for peace talks with Mr. Donald Trump.” In the clip, he says, “So, as you may know, it’s going viral that Mr Donald Trump wants to speak to the Iranis. And three people have been beckoned. Talks are happening with Smriti ji, Aruna Irani ji, and me, Boman Irani. So, I am ready. I am ready to do anything for peace.”
Adding his own comic conditions to the imagined meeting, Boman says, “I have only one problem, I won’t go to Washington. I think it would be best if Trump sahab and his delegation come to Dadar Parsi Colony. We’ll feed them dhansak, custard and other food. But if they bring along a big gas cylinder, I think it’ll make life very smooth for all of us.” He ends the video with a sarcastic smile and a thumbs-up.
On the work front, Boman made his directorial debut in 2025 with The Mehta Boys, where he also starred alongside Avinash Tiwary and Shreya Chaudhry. He has also been seen in projects like Detective Sherdil and Tanvi The Great, and began this year with The Raja Saab featuring Prabhas.
