Congress MP Shashi Tharoor continued to come under fire from his colleagues over his praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Ramnath Goenka Lecture.

Five to six miscreants, posing as RBI officials, executed a daring daylight dacoity in Bengaluru, looting Rs 7.1 crore from an armoured cash van. The well-scripted incident involved blocking the van, deceiving its staff, and making off with the cash boxes under the guise of an inspection.

Home Minister H Parameshwara described the heist as a “first-of-its-kind incident” in Bengaluru and confirmed that investigators have already picked up “important leads.”
