Jennifer Lopez has recently made headlines due to her divorce from her second marriage with Ben Affleck, but the focus is shifting to other stories—particularly Sean “Diddy” Combs’ relationship history with her, amid his recent arrest. JLo and Diddy had a tumultuous relationship, which they rekindled multiple times over the course of two years, from 1999 to 2001, between Lopez’s first and second marriages.

The rapper’s recent arrest has reignited interest in an incident the pair was involved in back in 1999. With Combs back in court, the issues surrounding the couple’s tumultuous relationship, particularly the infamous New York nightclub shooting from that year, have resurfaced. Lopez and Combs were dating during a pivotal time in their careers, as Lopez reached the peak of her musical success, propelled in part by Combs’ influence.

According to Forbes, an argument broke out between Diddy’s protégé, 21-year-old Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, and JLo’s bodyguard, Anthony “Wolf” Jones, as well as the two A-listers. The altercation escalated into a shootout, leaving three people injured.

Lopez and Diddy were dating when he was producing her hit debut album, On the 6. In a 2003 interview with Vibe, JLo opened up about her split from Diddy, stating, “It was the first time I was with someone who wasn’t faithful.” She was candid about the fact that their separation was caused by Combs’ infidelity, which led to significant emotional distress for her.

She added, “I was in this relationship with Puff where I was totally crying, crazy, and going nuts. It really sent my whole life into a tailspin.”

Maharashtra’s former minister and late NCP leader Baba Siddique’s demise left the entire nation in shock. Siddique was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Bandra on Saturday. Amid the investigation, if a new report is to be believed, Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment is now under heavy security, and bystanders are prohibited from stopping and taking selfies outside his residence.

According to a report by the Times of India, Salman Khan, who stays in the Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, is being heavily guarded by police constables outside his residence after his close friend Baba Siddique’s assassination. The security outside his apartment has been tightened, and bystanders are not allowed to stop near the area and click selfies or record videos.

The report further suggests that the media professionals are not permitted to shoot near Khan’s Galaxy Apartment. Meanwhile, a CCTV camera installed facing the road can record the movements outside the building. 

Reportedly, Salman Khan is now provided with the Y+ security. The upgrade of the security comes in light of Baba Siddique’s gruesome murder last week. Quoting sources, India Today reported that a police escort vehicle now accompanies the superstar alongside his car. A constable trained to use all weapons also guards Khan.

Salman, who shared a great bond with Baba Siddique, was among the celebrities who visited the Lilavati Hospital to meet his family. Siddique was brought to the hospital after being shot in the stomach and chest in the assailant attack on October 12. The political leader succumbed to injuries the same night.

While the investigation is still going on, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang recently claimed responsibility for Baba Siddique’s murder. The gang cited Siddique’s ties with Salman Khan in a Facebook post. For the uninitiated, the Bishnoi gang has been targeting the superstar for many years.

After the murder of Baba Siddique, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde confirmed that the police arrested two out of three assailants. While one attacker is from Uttar Pradesh, the second one hails from Haryana. The third assailant is on the run.

Apart from Salman, celebrities like Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, and Raj Kundra also visited Lilavati Hospital after Siddique’s demise.

Meryl Steep made sure to truthfully praise Steven Spielberg and his Shoah Foundation while giving a speech during its 30th-anniversary Ambassadors for Humanity Gala. The event, which remembers the Holocaust, was held at New York Hilton Midtown on October 13, Sunday.

According to People magazine, Streep said that it was honoring and humbling to be there in the attendance of survivors of the Shoah and in the presence of some individuals who showed the dedication of their, “lives, heart and soul, to preserving the memories of these people and honoring their lives.”

While talking about Spielberg, the veteran actress expressed that three decades prior, her, “lion-hearted friend, Steven Spielberg, oppression artist with an unmatched gift for storytelling, saw that the defense of the truth was very, very important.”

The Little Women star shared that together with some visionary associates who partnered and founded the USC Shoah Foundation and established living memories and collections of thousands of first-hand witnesses’ descriptions of what actually happened the years before today’s “digital manipulations.”

She continued, “This vault of irrefutable truth has a living mission, and 80 plus years after the Holocaust.” The Academy Award-winning actress also stated that the words spoken by the survivors are significantly more essential than ever to be a testimony of what “hate” can do and where we can be led by that and to recall the repercussions if nothing is done by us and to keep alive its memories of what actually occurred.

She added that it is not only to document the unimaginable deeds but also to motivate us with the examples of bravery that are lying within them, that they make clear to us. She said that the same bravery is something that we will require very soon.
